There's apparently a Western release that has the arranged music in the Japanese version cut out, but I can't find any info to support this. Retrospective & systems comparison - this SFC port is awful.
The lead programmer and designer was Dylan Cuthbert, who later became notable for the Star Fox series. Top down cyber punk action racer with career mode; looks rather interesting. Controls info & character portraits inspired by musicians & artists. The translation of the Japanese text can be seen here. WIP patch with Englishsubs4all's translation of 50% of script was inserted by flamethrower.

Translation of the earlier SFC version is very incomplete and inactive. Successor to what we know as 'Nintendo World Cup', feat. 2nd-best looking version of the game, behind the PC-E versions. Full project that started in May 2016 is being worked on by chief The Minecrafter and a translator. Famicom version contains various difficulty changes. You can finish the game on all difficulty settings. 2nd part of the Persona 2 story, following Innocent Sin. A strange game with cutscenes between fights showing beaten CPU opponents involving said opponents being put into a sexually compromising position. A possible kart racer that was made before "Super Mario Kart." Never even localized to arcades in America, let alone consoles.
There was a patch that translates all characters skills, flash drives, items, weapons, helmets, armors and lapis - hosted site gone. Also, the creator of the game doesn't like to refer to the game as a racing game, because it's really only a test of how fast you can make it to the next checkpoint.
English localization available for TG-CD but with different character names. Incomplete 5% done patch out in 2010 for the prettier PC version. Freeware English Windows version can be downloaded here. The hardest difficulty is harder than the NES version's equivalent. The platforming segment in Mission 6 changes depending on the difficulty. Being worked on by TRADUKO Soft and edited by cj_iwakura. But English versions were released on older home computers.
